💳 BOOKING AND PAYMENTS
How do I make a reservation? You can book through our online store, by phone, or via email. The easiest way is to book directly through our online store, where you can see real-time availability and receive an instant confirmation. Simply choose your dates and accommodation, fill in your details, and pay. Some of our accommodations are also available on Booking.com.
What payment methods are available online? We accept most Finnish online banks, card payments (Visa/Mastercard), and MobilePay. On-site in Muonio, you can pay by card or cash.
Can I pay by invoice? Yes. For private individuals, the invoice is sent and must be paid before the arrival. For companies, we can arrange billing based on the actual nights stayed.
Is an online reservation binding? Yes, the reservation is binding once you have completed the payment and received a confirmation email.
Can I pay on-site? Yes. If you do not book via the online store, the payment method will be agreed upon separately. However, we recommend using the online store, especially if you arrive late and depart early the next morning.
Will I receive a booking confirmation? Yes, a confirmation and necessary instructions will be sent to your email immediately. Please check your spam folder if it doesn't appear.
Can I book multiple cabins or rooms? Yes, you can make several consecutive bookings online or by contacting us directly.

🚘 ARRIVAL AND ACCOMMODATION
📍 How do I find you? Our address is Lahenrannantie 10, Muonio. We are located in the center of Muonio. Link to Google Maps.
Bus: Buses stop at the SEO station in Muonio, which is 650 meters from us.
Train (from Kolari): There is a connecting bus from Kolari railway station to Muonio. You can buy tickets on the Matkahuolto website.
Flight (from Kittilä): Airport taxis run from some flights to Muonio. Please check and book via the Kittilä Airport website.
🕑 What are the check-in and check-out times? Check-in starts at 4:00 PM (16:00). Please inform us of your estimated arrival time in advance, especially if arriving after 9:00 PM.
Check-out is by 11:00 AM.
🔑 Where do I get the key? You can get the key from the reception upon arrival. If you arrive late or when we are not available, we will arrange the key handover separately.
Online bookings: You will receive a key box code via email with your confirmation. You can use this code throughout your stay.
🕐 Can I arrive late at night? Yes. We can provide an entry code and instructions. This happens automatically with online bookings. For bookings made via phone, email, or Booking.com, please arrange late arrival and payment in advance. Note: Online bookings cannot be made after 10:00 PM for the same night.
Is the reception always open? The reception is open whenever we are on-site. The best way to reach us is by phone.
Do I need to return the key? Yes. If you used a code, please leave the key in the key box. If you received a physical key, return it to the reception or the key drop box outside the reception.
Can I stay here on a business trip? Absolutely. We host many business travelers throughout the year.
🔄 CANCELLATIONS AND CHANGES
How do I change or cancel my booking? Cancellation terms depend on the type of accommodation and the timing. Please notify us as soon as possible by phone or email. Detailed terms and potential costs can be found on our Terms page. We always recommend comprehensive travel insurance for unexpected illnesses.
Do I get a refund? Refunds depend on how early the cancellation is made. Please refer to our booking terms for specifics.
🚍 CARAVANS AND CAMPING
When are the caravan sites and camping cabins available? From the beginning of June until the end of September.
How do I book a spot? You can book and pay for caravan spots in our online store, or you can simply arrive and check for availability.
Are there electricity hookups and service facilities? Yes, electricity is available. Guests have access to showers, toilets, a small dishwashing station, and a chemical toilet disposal point. There is no full kitchen, but there is a "kota" (traditional hut) in the yard for guest use. Saunas are available for an extra fee.
🐾 PRACTICALITIES (Pets, Wi-Fi & Sauna)
🐾 Are pets allowed? Pets are welcome in designated apartments and cabins for an extra fee. Please contact us before booking or select a "pet-friendly" option in the online store.
🍳 What is the equipment in the cabins/apartments? All units include beds, heating, and basic amenities. For example, our semi-detached apartments feature:
Amenities: Shower, private sauna, toilet, drying cabinet, underfloor heating.
Entertainment: Wi-Fi, TV.
Kitchen: Stove, coffee maker, kettle, cooking utensils, fridge, microwave, and tableware for four.
🧹 Do I need to clean the cabin? Final cleaning is included in the price. However, we ask that you leave the cabin tidy, wash the dishes, and take out the trash.
♻ Where do I take the trash? Trash collection points are located near the buildings (General waste, Bottles, Cardboard).
Is there an age limit? The person making the reservation must be at least 18 years old.
Are linens included? Linens are included in the price for apartments, cabins, and rooms. They are not included in the price for camping cabins (summer cabins).
Is there a silence policy? Yes, silence is observed between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM.
Can I do laundry? We have a washing machine available for guests. Please check the price and availability at the reception.
🛶 ACTIVITIES & EQUIPMENT RENTAL
Can I access ski tracks or snowmobile routes from the yard? Yes! Snowmobile routes are accessible directly from the yard. The nearest maintained ski track is approximately 600–1000 meters away, though a track base often runs right by the cabins.
What equipment can I rent?
Boats and motors (for salmon fishing or rowing).
Canoes and kayaks.
Bicycles (for getting around the village).
Sleds (ahkio), skinbased skis, and kicksleds (potkuri).
Is there a BBQ area? Yes, there is a cozy kota with a fireplace. Please note that firewood is not included in the room price and is available for a small fee.
🛒 LOCAL SERVICES
Where is the nearest grocery store? The nearest stores (S-Market and K-Market) are about 700 meters away on Yrjökokontie. In the village center (500–600m away), you will also find a pharmacy, Alko (liquor store), a café, and various small boutiques.
