Customer

In order to ensure the best possible success of your stay, we will abide by the following terms and conditions for reservations, unless otherwise agreed.

Booking

General Terms and Conditions

  • All prices in the webshop are in EUR, with 24% VAT.

  • We reserve the right to change prices. We apply dynamic pricing; the prices are dependent on the season and may change between different months, weeks, or days.

  • We sell and rent our products to adult clients and company clients.

  • The customer is responsible for the accuracy of the information provided.

  • We reserve the right to change our delivery terms.

  • Before ordering, the customer must check the delivery terms that apply.

Terms of delivery

  • When Customer makes a reservation, Customer accepts the applicable policies as displayed in the booking process.

  • The accommodation is paid for in full at the time of booking. Order confirmation / Payment confirmation will be sent to the customer by e-mail.

  • Room reservations can be made only by persons aged 18 or over. Anyone booking a room for a minor is responsible for the booking and for the persons staying in the room.

  • The reservation made by the customer is binding once the order or payment confirmation has been sent to the email address provided by the customer.

  • The customer pays for the reservation according to the selected payment method, adhering to the terms and conditions of the chosen payment method. The reservation system sends the order or payment confirmation to the email address provided by the customer.

  • The merchant is not responsible for failed reservations; instead, the customer should promptly contact the merchant to rectify the situation. The merchant does not guarantee that the property is still available in this situation. If the property is not available, a refund will be provided, or alternatively, another property will be offered if possible.

Cancellations and changes to bookings

  • The cancellation date is the day on which the merchant received notification of the cancellation.

  • The customer is responsible for ensuring that the cancellation is sent in a timely manner.

  • If the customer cancels their reservation,

    • For no-show reservations, cancellation fees are 100%.

    • If the reservation is canceled less than 7 days before the start of the reservation, the full rental price will be charged.

  • The reservation can be transferred upon the customer's request, subject to the following conditions:

    • The transfer can only be done once.

    • If the transferred reservation is canceled, the full rental price will always be charged, regardless of the cancellation date.

Booking modifications by the merchant

The merchant has the right to cancel the reservation in the event of force majeure. In the event of cancellation, the customer renting the property will be notified promptly. The customer is entitled to receive a full refund of the rental amount they have paid.

Any expenses incurred by the customer as a result of the cancellation due to force majeure will not be reimbursed.

Keys

  • In our confirmation letter, you’ll find instructions regarding the key and its collection for the reserved accommodation.

  • If the key is lost or not returned, the owner has the right to charge the customer for all costs associated with rekeying or changing locks, amounting to at least €200.

  • The merchant has the right to charge a minimum compensation of €30 if they need to open the property due to a lost or locked-in key.

Customers' Responsibilities

  • The property is defined in the property description.

  • The customer has the right to use the property and its amenities, as well as the separately specified services, during the rental period.

  • If the renter notices any deficiencies or other issues at the property, they must immediately inform the reservation management responsible for handling such matters.

  • The customer is responsible for maintaining cleanliness at the property and disposing of waste during and after the rental period.

  • The property is available to the customer as specified in the property description, starting from 3:00 PM on the arrival day and until 11:00 AM on the departure day.

  • Pets are allowed only in certain properties, subject to an additional fee of €20 per day or €40 per week.

    • The renter is fully responsible and liable for any damages caused by their pets.

    • Pets are not allowed to be left alone in the accommodations without supervision.

    • Pet owners must pay special attention to the cleanliness of the accommodation.

    • The accommodation will always be inspected after a pet has stayed there. The allowance of pets in accommodations is always indicated separately. Pet owners must also follow any additional specific instructions provided.

Rentals

  • The use of rental equipment is always at the tenant's own risk. The renter is obliged to take care of the rental equipment like a careful person of their own and to exercise special care and caution.

  • The customer must familiarize themselves with the safety and usage instructions for the equipment. The equipment should be used carefully and only for its intended and customary purpose.

  • The customer agrees to conduct safety inspections during the rental period. The rental equipment must not be taken out of the country or subleased. The rental equipment should only be used within the limits allowed by the terms and only in locations suitable for the user's skill level and competence. The customer uses all equipment and accessories at their own risk.

  • Regarding water sports equipment (such as canoes, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and rowboats), the customer confirms that they are proficient in swimming and have previous experience using the specific equipment.

  • The customer must return the equipment immediately at the agreed-upon location, cleaned and in the same condition as when it was rented out. If there is a delay in returning the equipment, the renter must inform the Merchant without delay. The Merchant has the right to charge 50% of the increased rent for the excess period, unless otherwise agreed.

  • The customer is responsible for compensating the Merchant for any damages and costs incurred due to careless or incorrect handling, as well as inadequate maintenance of the rental equipment during the rental period. The customer is obligated to compensate for any destroyed or lost equipment during the rental period at its replacement value. The customer is responsible for compliance with transportation, safety, and other regulations. The customer must immediately report any equipment defects to the lessor.

  • The Merchant is responsible for repair actions resulting from normal wear and tear of the equipment. The Merchant is not liable for any direct or indirect costs or damages incurred by the renter due to the use or breakage of the rental equipment.

  • The Merhant is not obliged to provide a replacement device for a damaged rental item or compensate for any indirect or direct costs resulting from work interruption. If necessary, the Customer will be instructed in the use of the device.

What if something goes wrong?

  • If you have a query or complaint, please contact our Customer Service as soon as possible.

  • The customer is responsible for compensating the Merchant for any damage they have caused to the property. The Customer is also responsible for any damage caused by other individuals visiting the property during the reservation period.

  • The Merchant is not liable to compensate the customer for any inconvenience or expenses resulting from natural conditions such as insects, animals, road conditions, or unexpected weather variations.

Complaints

  • Any complaints must be made as soon as possible after the issue arises. If a satisfactory resolution cannot be reached or if there is a claim for compensation, the complaint must be submitted in writing within one month from the end of the rental period.

  • The Merchant will aim to process the complaint as quickly as possible but no later than within one month. If the customer and the Merchant fail to reach an agreement, the customer can submit the dispute to the Consumer Complaints Board for further consideration.

Delivery Terms

Formation of the Agreement

A binding contract for the purchase is established once the order is confirmed (order confirmation/payment confirmation). The order confirmation/payment confirmation will be sent to the customer via email.

Payment Terms

  • The merchant applies reliable and secure payment intermediaries for its services.

  • The merchant does not store any banking or credit card information at any stage.

  • The customer agrees to comply with the terms and conditions of their chosen payment method.

  • Payment by Invoice

    • The invoice must be paid by the due date specified on the invoice.

    • Late payment fees will be added to invoices paid after the due date. If the invoice is paid after the due date with the original invoice and late payment fees have already been incurred, the fees will be invoiced separately.

  • If the payment transaction has not been successfully completed at the time of booking, the merchant will not process the order.
